Dude! This has been going on for a loooong time. When I was in grade school my best friend and I used to write to her and she sent my friend a signed photo. What kind of grade school kids write to Dame Maggie Smith? DON’T answer that. Anyway, watch The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie immediately if you haven’t already. Travels With My Aunt is this totally bizarre George Cukor situation that features the Dame in a variety of costumes having fits. The Honey Pot is streaming on Netflix now, I think I’ve seen it but I slept through all the parts that she wasn’t in.
